Renders Of Un textured level


I really enjoyed working on the models for my design, this was the first time i ever had any free roam on designing. This caused me to make a lot of mistakes, find my own way to create and new ways to work with maya. Working on the model design took me quite a while, as designing assets like this was quite alien too me. I have discovered since starting this the problems of using a single maya file for all the assets. For this reason i have split all my assets into separate files and am working on them from there.

You can see a range of differences from some of my concept art of the level. One of the houses have been lifted on small beams compared to the concept art, where as the manor house has taken on quite a few changes from the art.

The experience of the modeling this level has been so enjoyable and helpful. it has taught me a lot about the use of maya and the design process involved that comes with that.
