So for contextrual studies i have been set to look into a specific character to look into. We are meant to look into simular characters and remix's of the character. I have desided to look into the famous Mad hatter from Lewis Carol, alice in wounderland. This character is one of the most memorable characters from one of the biggest storys ever.

The madman or hatter is infamous for his distorted sanity. He has lost his sense of time due to being told he is wasting the queens time. and is conviced it is always 6 o clock. Which is also the time he always holds tea partys with his close friends. He plays the role to confuse and disoritate alice while she is stuck in wounderland. This is a trend that alot of characters through litriture, film and games.

I am going to be looking into different interpritations of this character. I will also look into simular characters or characters that play a simular role to the mad hatter (bringing the main character into a slightly more insane world with him being one of the center pieces.)

This character has popped up in many different medias. He has been dipected as both a hero and a villan. This relates to different interpritations of the character and the views of the designer for that character.
